The car was produced to celebrate 100 years, meeting the businessman Charles Rolls and Frederick Henry Royce engineer. The numbers speak for themselves, but to get a better idea of the size of the car in solid silver Spirit of Ecstasy is seven feet (2.1 m) from the driver. The outputs of the engine are not specified by the company, but the motoring press estimate about 700 hp (520 kW) and 700 lb.-ft. (950 Nm) of torque is close to the actual figures.
